Tienda Móvil was born in March 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, with a simple idea: to make authentic Mexican products more accessible to our community. We started from home with just one order, never imagining how quickly our little business would grow.

Within just a few months, we were receiving more than 1,000 orders per week. As demand continued to grow, we launched our online store in August 2020, which helped us reach even more customers and nearly doubled our sales.

With our growing customer base, we knew it was time to take the next step. In January 2021, we signed our first commercial lease, and just a few months later, in April 2021, we proudly opened our first physical store.

Two years later, in May 2023, we opened our second location, allowing us to serve even more families across Toronto and the GTA.

In 2024, we launched Mexiability, our own brand created with a purpose beyond the products themselves. Mexiability provides employment opportunities for people with disabilities and reflects our commitment to creating a more inclusive community.

Today, Tienda Móvil is a team of eight people, proudly serving our community through our stores and online shop. What started with one order from home has grown into a business built on family, community, hard work, and the support of thousands of customers.
